This piece is all about feeling like you have been transported into the forest. 
It has texture from actual pine needles that are embedded in the paint.  Mother nature has provided the background stencils as paint has been sprayed over pine boughs.  A detailed image of the white pine cone is painted with oils over top.  This piece goes well as a triptych with The Interlude and Deep In The Forest.
